David Anderson - Executive Chef With the opening of Madeleine Bistro in 2005, Chef David was finally able to realize his unique culinary vision. Madeleine Bistro quickly became known as the top vegetarian restaurant in Los Angeles and one of the finest in the world. Chef David has been written about in magazines such as VegNews, Variety, Whole Life Times, Yoga Journal and Vegetarian Times as well as newspapers such as the Los Angeles Times and the Los Angeles Daily News. In 2007, he was honored as the first vegetarian chef invited to cook at the prestigious Epcot International Food & Wine Festival at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. He also was named “Chef of the Year” by VegNews Magazine. The accompanying article states “(Chef David) is, quite simply, reinventing vegan cuisine. The classically trained Anderson is nothing short of a culinary genius.” In 2008, Chef David was involved in Oprah Winfrey’s highly publicized 21-day vegan cleanse, providing recipes and shipping meals. Molly Anderson – General Manager Molly began her professional career in the entertainment industry as a Personal Manager. She spent several years pursuing her first passion, music, with the same fire and energy that she now brings to Madeleine Bistro. Molly left the music industry to pursue a degree in Anthropology at U.C.L.A., and to follow another passion - vegan living. She began working at Real Food Daily where she met David Anderson and the two began to lay the groundwork for Madeleine Bistro. Molly also has extensive experience organizing large catering events. |
